Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect the information you share with us through this website—and the choices you have.

Effective date: September 26, 2026

Who we are

This website, bosyx.com, is operated by BOSYX Technologies LLC (“BOSYX”, “we”, “us” or “our”), an Oklahoma limited liability company located at 2609 Featherstone Rd, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. BOSYX is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

If you have a question about this policy or your information, email us at hello@bosyx.com.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit bosyx.com or contact us, how we use and share it, how long we keep it and the rights you have. It does not cover:

  • BOSYX-owned products such as YarnDeck, Trainve and Edlyx, which have their own terms and privacy notices;
  • information we process on behalf of clients under a client agreement, which is governed by that agreement; or
  • third-party websites we link to, which have their own policies.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you send an inquiry through a form on this website, we collect the details you choose to provide. That usually includes your name, email address, organization and a description of your situation, and may include optional details such as your phone number, company website, area of interest, timing or budget range.

When you email us directly, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments. Please don’t send passwords, access credentials or sensitive personal information that isn’t needed for a first conversation.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page and the date and time of your visit.

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Cookies that are not strictly necessary—such as analytics cookies—are only used if you agree to them through our cookie banner.

Information from third parties

We do not buy personal information. If someone refers you to us, or you contact us through a professional network, we may receive your name and contact details from that source.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and determine the appropriate next step, such as a conversation, an assessment or a proposal.
  • To manage our relationship with you if you become a client, partner or supplier, including preparing and administering agreements.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website, including preventing spam, abuse and security incidents.
  • To understand how the website is used, through analytics—only where you have given consent.
  • To meet legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Legal bases for processing (UK and EU visitors)

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests—responding to inquiries, running our business and keeping the website secure;
  • Steps before entering into a contract—when you ask us about a potential engagement;
  • Consent—for non-essential cookies such as analytics, which you can withdraw at any time; and
  • Legal obligation—where we must keep or disclose information by law.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the website and our business, under obligations to protect it. These currently include our website host (Verpex), our email and productivity provider (Google Workspace), and Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces used on the site. If you consent to analytics, the analytics provider we use will also receive usage information. As our business grows we may use a customer relationship management (CRM) system to organize inquiries; it would be used on the same basis.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
  • Authorities or other parties where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of BOSYX, our clients or others.
  • A successor business if BOSYX is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage any resulting relationship. If an inquiry does not lead to a relationship, we delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, unless we must keep it for legal, accounting or security reasons. Client records are kept as set out in the relevant client agreement and as required by law. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and choosing reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

BOSYX is based in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States. Where UK or EU law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the contractual commitments offered by our service providers.

Your privacy rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights.

UK and EU residents

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information; to restrict or object to our processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority—in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office—although we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

California residents

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies, you have the right to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and request a copy of it;
  • request that we delete or correct your personal information;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information—although we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined;
  • limit the use of sensitive personal information—although we do not collect sensitive personal information through this website; and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information through this website: identifiers (such as name, email address and IP address), professional or employment-related information (such as organization and role) and internet or network activity (such as pages visited). We collected this information from you and from your device, for the purposes described in “How we use your information”, and disclosed it only to the service providers described in “How we share information”.

You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will need to verify your identity, and your agent’s authority, before we act on a request.

Other U.S. states

Residents of other U.S. states with privacy laws may have similar rights. We will honor requests as required by the law that applies to you.

How to make a request

Email hello@bosyx.com with the subject line “Privacy request”, telling us what you are asking for. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfil a request—for example, because we must keep information by law—we will explain why.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time—for example, when we add analytics or a new service provider. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the website.
